On Friday June 12th, Lookout Farm will welcome back guests to enjoy a reimagined upscale picnic dining experience.
To compliment Lookout Farm crafted beers and hard ciders, the expanded outdoor dining will be lead by Executive Chef Jason Gorman, a passionate clean food advocate and James Beard semi-finalist for Best Chef Midwest region. Chef Gorman plans to showcase Lookout Farm grown and other locally sourced produce. “It’s wonderful to be outdoors, cooking with beautiful ingredients grown right in front of me,” shared Chef Gorman.
Fortunately, Lookout Farm sits on 180 acres of farmland surrounded by views of fruit orchards and rolling hills. The re-envisioned outdoor space allows for physical distancing to be comfortably maintained.
“As an agri-tourism business, our farm heavily relies upon guests visiting us each year” said Jay Mofenson, Farm Operations Manager. “Fresh air dining enables us to safely invite customers back to enjoy an immersive farm experience.”
Seated at sanitized picnic tables, guests can enjoy Lookout Farm beers, hard ciders and New England cuisine while taking in the surrounding farm views and fresh air. The sprawling fruit orchard will also feature a scenic walking trail for farm visitors to stretch their legs.
The Lookout will operate using an online reservation system and food and beverage ordering will be through the Lookout Farm website once seated.
