MA BREWERY INDUSTRY StATS

The Massachusetts craft beer industry is a significant contributor to the state's economy. Data from The Mass Brewers Guild and the Mass Brew Bros reveals:

• 232 Commercial breweries exist across the Commonwealth.

• 209 Breweries are visitable destinations.

• 205 Have tap rooms that are open to the public.

• 7 Breweries are Production Breweries.

• 17 Are contract Brands.

• As many as 15 new breweries are expected to open in 2024-25.

• Another 10+ Massachusetts breweries are in the planning stages.
