Mass Beer Week Art contest

Mass Beer Week is the state-wide celebration of local craft beer that takes place the first week in March.
Set for March 1-8, 2025, the Mass Brewers Guild also hosts a fundraiser and marketing initiative throughout the week whereby craft beer enthusiasts visit participating member breweries to purchase the annual collector's glass.
The art for the glass also turns into the social media fliers and a T-shirt design to highlight the week and help drive traffic and tourism to our state’s breweries.
For a third year in a row, we’re inviting artists and designers from across the Commonwealth to participate and submit their designs for ultimate bragging rights, a cash prize, and an MBG prize pack with two beer festival tickets. You must be a Massachusetts resident to enter the contest.
CONTEST DETAILS
Entries can be submitted October 1st – 31st, 2024. Use the form below and you’ll be sent a Google Drive link to upload your artwork.
The MBG will pick the top 2-3 candidates for a final judgment round where the winner will be determined by the public via an online poll mid-November.
The artist of the winning design will receive an $800 check, an MBG swag bag with two beer festival tickets & recognition in the promotions and press coverage.
The two runners up will also receive a $50 cash prize
DO NOT share your design with the public prior to the grand unveiling in November.
Once selected as the winner, the artist will also need to reformat/resize their art for the following uses: (Due December 16, 2024)
The Mass Beer Week social media flier (1080 x 1080 px)
Facebook + Twitter profile banners (820 x 312 px + 1500 x 500 px, respectively)
Mass Beer Week T-shirt design (work within an 11in x 11in box or circle)
ARTWORK SPECS
To enter the contest, you only need to submit the glassware design, imprint size 3-1/4 x 8-5/8 x 2-3/4" TEMPLATE PDF - TEMPLATE AI it can be a full wrap.
The theme of the design should be a celebration / representation of Massachusetts craft beer (see previous years artwork above and below for inspiration).
The artwork can include up to 3 colors
The artwork must include the Mass Brewers Guild logo
Must include the year, 2024
Must include the hashtag #MassBeerWeek
It can also include the slogan “Drink Mass Made Beer”
Submissions must be "print-ready" ensuring that designs are prepared for professional reproduction across different mediums and submitted as a vector file via the form below (.PDF, .EPS., AI.)

By entering the contest, the artist assigns to Mass Brewers Guild all rights in and to the artist’s copyright by way of their submission(s). Mass Brewers Guild will allow Artist to use their submission featuring Mass Brewers Guild’s trademark, Mass Beer Week to promote their design work submitted as part of this contest to be featured on Artist’s website, portfolio and other advertising materials used in the promotion of their work product only. Artist acknowledges that by using the artwork in any manner that may cause confusion to the consumer as to the source of the art or use in any manner which may be seen as competing or infringing upon Mass Brewers Guild’s Mass Beer Week promotional items can cause harm to the Mass Brewers Guild and Artist agrees to refrain from doing so.
